About Us

Your people, your planet, and you.

Planet CIC is a social enterprise founded by long-time recruitment professional Kate Evans.  Our primary objective is to create long-term environmental sustainability by raising funds through recruitment in environmental, energy and sustainable industries. As a social enterprise (CIC), we reinvest 100% of our trading profit into educational initiatives with young people that protect and nurture the environment.

We celebrated our very first placement by planting a large Oak tree in Birmingham to symbolise the strength and longevity of our mission. We were soon invited onto the PwC Entrepreneur Programme and went on to create a honey bee wood with the help of 85 multinational corporate volunteers.

In early 2018, Kate was awarded the 'Woman Who Achieves' Best New Business Award. We were also the FSB Most Ethical Business and a finalist for SME Best New Business in 2018. We were then invited to the House of Commons for the Social Enterprise UK 'Buy Corporate Challenge'.

Now in our 7th year, we are working with some of the UK's most innovative businesses. Our exciting journey has also been filled with collaborating with educational partners, charities, and schools, through which we delivered the School Sustainability Programme. This programme is educating thousands of primary school children in environmental sustainability solutions, as well as supporting teachers and vulnerable people.

As a Social Enterprise, we encourage other businesses to follow this model to take up their social and environmental responsibility.

Together we can create a more sustainable future for all.
