Graduate Planet CIC awarded the Woman Who... Achieves Award 2018

We are really delighted that Graduate Planet CIC has been selected as the winner for the "Best New Start Up" in the Woman Who... Achieves Awards 2018.

Founded in January 2016 by Sandra Garlick & Mark Harris, The Woman Who… Achieves Awards is an event to inspire and celebrate the achievements of women in business and Rising Stars who are still in education or training. www.womanwho.co.uk

We are hugely proud to have won this award designed to encourage women to recognise their achievements, celebrate their successes and motivate others - not to mention being selected as a finalist from almost 200 entries.

The awards lunch took place at the very beautiful Coombe Abbey Hotel, on Friday 27th April 2018

The event included talks from 2 inspirational keynote speakers : -

· Holly Matthews, Actress and Business Woman

· Emma Heathcote-James, Founder and MD of Little Soap Company

· Fleur Sexton, MD of Pet-Xi, ReVitalise Business Woman of the Year 2017/18

They shared their amazing and inspirational business journey, the challenges they have faced and how they have overcome them.

Our award was kindly sponsored by Coventry based Gary Hampton at Windows Plus a leading manufacturer and installer of uPVC and Aluminium Windows, Doors and Conservatories. Gary is a Change Champion himself, famously supporting women in business both at in his own business and in the wider community, a true gent.

We are so very proud to have won this award, we have managed to achieve this thanks to the continuous support and belief we have received from so many wonderful people and organisations during our first year. As a result of their encouragement we've been able to achieve what we set out to do, providing businesses with high quality staff and reinvesting 100% of our profit back into local projects which help to combat climate change.
