This is a very formative time in children’s lives and they need to be informed about potential career opportunities. Findings indicate that the majority of children reaching high school have lost inspiration about career path opportunities and have a limited understanding of the variety of opportunities available to them.

 

The programme addresses the lack of career information and inspiration available and will educate local children in the need for people to take up careers in Energy, Transport, Construction, Environment, CSR, Sustainability, Clean Tech and Sustainable Investment demonstrating the broad range of opportunities that are now available and help them to start considering relevant GCSE options at an early stage.

Many of the workshops will include inspirational speakers from a range of industries because it is essential that the children are given the opportunity to be able to make informed decisions about their future careers.
